After a disappointing 2005-2006 season, during which Martin's team failed to qualify for the 2006 Turin Games, his team broke up and Martin forged his current group. Name: Cheryl Bernard. Position: Skip. Bio: Bernard is a four-time Alberta provincial champion and won a silver medal at the 1996 Scott Tournament of Hearts. Between 1997 and 2006, she failed to qualify for another national championship, but her team's performance since then earned them a spot at the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.
