Should women hockey players apologize for smoking and drinking on ice?Fri, February 26, 2010 THE CANADIAN PRESS VANCOUVER -- Hockey Canada apologized Thursday for a boozy impromptu party the Olympic women's hockey team threw for itself on the Canada Hockey Place ice after winning the gold medal. Canadian players, still wearing their uniforms and with gold medals draped around their necks, celebrated their victory by drinking champagne and beer at centre ice following a 2-0 win over the United States. The International Olympic Committee said it will investigate the celebration, which included drinking by one of Canada's underage players. In a statement released late Thursday, Hockey Canada apologized. Do you think it was necessary for Hockey Canada to apologize for the players? Have your say in our forum. IOC chides golden girls |

There are too many Mikes here at first I thought it was me you responded too but, it was not.
Now, it does not change my opinion of you. It was an after game problem, not an "in-game" issue so explain disgraced medal? Had they cheated or used performance enhancing drugs or supplements, that would be a disgrace.
What is a disgrace is calling " mike, 2010-02-27 11:29:07" or what ever "Mike" comment you chose! Now, stating "...a fat kid with glasses...", that is a disgrace! Yes this forum is about opinions, of the topic not a place to execute personal attacks against others comments.

it was not the IOC that asked the american snowboarder to leave it was the US olympic committee. It was the right call by the USOC, hopefully it will be followed by the COC and not allow the girls to participate in the closing ceremonies.

that Mike, has to be one of the dumbest things I've read.
People like you(clueless), really have no idea about life outside your little self-absorbed bubble, right?
I'd guess , you're the fat kid with glasses without any fight in you whatsoever.
