Chuck- you are so misguided and mistaken on so many levels- you must be very young to be so misinformed. The Olympics have nothing to do with the war in Afghanistan. Are you similarly outraged at the atrocities committed by terrorists in general and the Taliban in particular? The recent death of civialians in this war was a very serious event - but it was not murder but was an unfortunate accident. Nato realizes that such actions alienate the population and play in the hands of the terrorists' propaganda machine - which you seem to be an unwitting proponent- shame on you.

Nobody and I mean nobody remembers or cares about any protesters other than those sympathetic to the cause, that is why Black bloc tactics work and peaceful change for a minority group does not.

Nobody cares about thorpe or Hill, because they are just spinning their wheels perpetually in the kind of never noticed protesting they organize and involve themselves in regularly.

If it wasn't for the tactically intellegent Black Bloc protesters, the peaceful march of saturday wouldn't have been mentioned on the news at all.

The only reason for discussion on this topic is at this point is because of the efforts made by Black Bloc and this should be acknowledged.

Nato forces killed 12 civilians in Afganistan today in an offensive offensive with started the same day as the Olympics started.

The damage done to the Bay windows amounts to the kind of vandalism which happens almost every weekend in any city, nation wide, yet everybody is outraged for unfounded reasons when broken windows for other reasons are never given a second thought. What a bunch of selective hypocrites you window whiners are, when you ignore war crimes but scream for justice of two windows, but not the murdered civilians killed by Nato forces. Not coincidently General electric weaponary, as well as GM trucks are involved in slaughtering civilians as an invasion force while presenting the fallacious notion of Unity in Vancouver as I write. It is one reality disguised as two different things, unrelated. Why do many of you choose to ignore the misery these sponsors are responsible for? Why do you support murder, opression, repealing of liberties, just so you can watch a lop sided non sporting event which amount to the entire Olympic games? Shame on you complicit war monger types, shame on you indeed.
