I've been picking this team for about 2 months in my head now, played a lot of hockey in my life, watched even more especially this year, i'm very shocked that mike green was left off it, the top offensive d-man in the league with a plus 15 rating for a couple of aging, less interested others that may or may not have some chemistry left from a stanley cup they won a few years ago. does that mean bobby orr might not have made the team based on his offensive genius. if you called green a defensive liability isn't that why the 4 or 5 other guys were picked. as for a couple of the other picks, let's hope they'll gell at the right time.

Would have liked to see Lecavalier, Stamkos or St.Louis on the team. Heatley has made it clear that he wants no part of any Canadian NHL team and he should not be on the Olympic team.

Can't go wrong with Canada's depth. Some great players had to be left off, like Jeff Carter, Jay Bouwmeester, Shane Doan, among others.

Who knows, someone might get hurt. At least Canada has an endless supply of injury replacements.
