Anyone who actually plays or coaches hockey, unlike the armchair quarterback know-it-alls who post here (like Steve Yzerman), knows that Crosby is the one player every coach would like to build a team around.
Yeah, Ovechkin is the great marketing tool who makes the big highlight reel plays, but Crosby plays the game on a different level than everyone else, much like Gretzky did. He makes it look so easy that people take him for granted.
And more importantly, Crosby is a winner. The teams that he has played on win championships. Can't say that for Ovechkin.
