HOW THE DEVIL ARE YA?
I'm doing fine. I've never been so proud to be Canadian.
IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT AND YOU'RE NOT PLAYING HOCKEY. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Probably just take it easy, take the night off and relax.
PICK FIVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF.
I think I'd say dedicated to my sport, hard worker, passionate, honest and loyal.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE IN HIGH SCHOOL?
I was pretty much a good student. I never missed class and always sat in the front row to make sure I understood everything. I tried to be the best I could be at school.

I would say it's a necklace from my mom who passed away in 1996.

I don't know. I don't have a lot.
NOT EVEN BEER?
No, I don't really drink. I'm not a person who drinks alcohol at any time. I would say maybe pop -- that's what I drink.
WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU PUNCHED AND WHY?
I think it was a teammate a long time ago in Montreal because I'd just come back from shoulder surgery, which she knew, and she did something to me and I wanted to send her a message that she couldn't do that.
WHAT'S THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING YOU'VE EVER BOUGHT?
I think it was a hand massager that you plug into the wall. It was supposed to be really good but I never used it.

It was a Mazda 626, 1986. I was old when I got it (laughs).
WHAT REPAIRS CAN YOU DO ON YOUR CAR?
I do a lot of repairs on my car. I worked for Mr. Lube and I was doing tuneups, oil changes and transmission fluid changes. I can pretty much do a lot.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY ATHLETE, BESIDES YOURSELF, WHO WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
I think I would be Sylvie Daigle because she was a role model for me and I learned a lot from her. She was a mentor for me.

It's pate chinois -- a shepherd's pie from Quebec.
DO YOU EVER MAKE IT FOR THE TEAM?
Not for the team but I do it at home once in a while.

No, not at all. I'm not updated with all those gadgets. I just use the ring that came with the phone.

Oh my God. Before it was Adrienne Clarkson, the former governor general of Canada.

WHAT WAS THE BEST CONCERT YOU'VE EVER SEEN?
Yeah, in Montreal. It was fun because her parents were in the stands, so she went a little bit longer with the music.
IF YOU WEREN'T A HOCKEY PLAYER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
You know, I'd love to coach hockey full time.
SO NOW WE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO WHEN YOU RETIRE.
Yeah, hopefully I'm going to stay in the game.
