TURIN, Italy (AP) - Maritta Becker had two goals and an assist, and Germany beat Italy 5-2 in the classification round of the Olympic women's hockey tournament Friday.
Nina Ritter had a goal and an assist, and Sara Seiler and Nikola Holmes added goals for the Germans, who scored just two goals in their first three Olympic games.
Scoring wasn't a problem against the host Italians, who have been outscored 37-3 in the tournament.
Maria Michaela Leitner scored two goals for Italy as the clubs combined for five scores in the first 7:47. Germany went ahead on Holmes' score, then clinched it with two third-period goals.
Italy will play Switzerland for seventh place on Monday, and Germany will face Russia for fifth place.
