KANSAS CITY - What started out as a three-man Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship at Kansas Speedway on Sunday ended with one of them on the outside looking in and another saving his day in the final laps.

After a vicious wreck with less than 75 laps left in the 267-lap Hollywood Casino 400, Kyle Busch, who started the race 12 points back of leader Matt Kenseth, dropped way back to fifth, 35 points down in his No. 18 Toyota.

Kenseth fought to control his No. 20 Toyota all race long, but got back to 11th place to save his leadership position, but by a slim three points over Jimmie Johnson.

It is still a three-man fight, but with race-winner Kevin Harvick taking over the No. 3 spot, climbing to within 25 points of Kenseth.
