The good folks at Ford Racing know that 2013 was not a banner year for the blue oval team in NASCAR Sprint Cup.

The No. 2 Penske Racing Ford finished third in the season-opening Daytona 500 last week and on Sunday a pair of Fords — with Keselowski on the pole and his teammate Joey Logano’s No. 22 beside him — are on the front row to start The Profit on CNBC 500K.

Keselowski said after the first-ever knockout qualifying session, he believes his team and is ready to take back the big trophy this season.

“I don’t know how to say it but it feels like a lot of things are coming togethe
