The odds are overwhelming that Sebastian Vettel will win his sixth consecutive Formula 1 Grand Prix this season and, with it, his fourth consecutive world driving championship.

There is little doubt we are now living in the “Vettel Era,” just like we lived through the Schumacher Era and before that ... well, there wasn’t really an era of domination like Michael Schumacher had before that.

How sure is it that Vettel will cap off his fourth title run on Sunday?

Well all he has to do is finish fifth and he is crowned champion. In the only two F-1 races ever held at India’s Buddh International Circuit, Vettel has led every lap.

On Sunday morning, he will start from the pole, a prize we won in shocking fashion.

In F-1, qualifying laps are measured in thousandths of a second and Vettel’s winning lap on Saturday was more than seven-tenths of a second faster than runner up Nico Rosberg.
