Alex Tagliani will no longer be behind the wheel of Barracuda Racing's No. 98 car this season.

Team IndyCar announced Tuesday that J.R. Hildebrand and Luca Filippi will take turns in the Barracuda seat for the last five races of the season.

Tagliani, who drove the car for the first half of the season, has turned his attention to this weekend's Grand-Am Sports Car Series race at Kansas Speedway with the R.Ferri/AIM Autosport Racing team.

This past weekend, the Montreal native raced in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series' Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres, finishing fifth.

Hildebrand leads Barracuda at the next IndyCar race, Aug. 25 at Sonoma, Calif. The following week, Filippi will take part in the Grand Prix of Baltimore. Both will drive in Houston's two races in early October, while Hildebrand will finish off the season Oct. 19 in Fontana, Calif.
