NASCAR Nationwide Series championship leader Austin Dillon has been pencilled in to replace Tony Stewart in the No. 14 Stewart Haas Racing Chevrolet this week in the Sprint Cup Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

The 23-year-old Dillon will race Saturday in the Nationwide race at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course and then make the three-hour drive to MIS for the Sunday event.

Stewart, meanwhile, was released from a Charlotte, N.C., hospital late Sunday and is at home recovering from a broken right tibia and fibula suffered in a sprint car crash last week at Southern Iowa Speedway.

Max Papis did an admiral job on Sunday at the Glen when he finished 15th subbing for Stewart.

Dillon comes to SHR after winning the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship in 2011 and has two Nationwide Series wins on his resume.
