1: Brad Keselowski — The reigning Sprint Cup champion is in 13th position in the points parade, three spots out of the top 10.

And his chances for a wild card berth are diminished because he does not have a win so far this season in the No. 2 Penske Racing Ford.

A dramatic improvement is needed over the next six races.

2: Tony Stewart — The three-time Cup champion is in 11th place and typically gets hot late in the season.

But the owner-driver of the No. 14 Stewart Haas Racing Chevrolet needs to get it done now.

He has one win, but it came two months ago at Dover. That will give him a leg up for a wild card but he really needs a second win to cement his Chase chances.

3: Jeff Gordon — The four time champion is in the 10th and final automatic berth for the Chase but he doesn’t have a win to cushion his position should he fall to 11th or further back.
