For one racing weekend, a dominating IndyCar driver turned Toronto’s CNE Grounds into his own personal playground.

After Sunday, just call the place Scottsdale, Ontario.

In one 48-hour span, the Honda Indy Toronto doubleheader was owned by Target Racing’s Scott Dixon, who swept the back-to-back races thanks to a dominant performance in Sunday’s event.

Dixon owned the circuit, winning a pole and two races en route to capturing a $100,000 US bonus for his unprecedented sweep.

"I love this place," Dixon said. "The town is a lot of fun and the crowd was great."
