For James Hinchcliffe, there is no rest for the wicked-ly fast.

Coming off a monstrous win at the little Iowa Speedway this past Sunday, Hinchcliffe was looking forward to the first real break in the IZOD IndyCar Series schedule in two months.

But no sooner had that thought registered than he remembered he had a test Tuesday at Pocono Raceway, where the open-wheelers will race on July 7 for the first time since 1989.

He does, however, get this weekend off to rest and after having notched his initial oval win I am sure a day at Pocono is not going to be a burden.

“We are testing at Pocono which everybody is excited for,” Hinchcliffe said. “Yeah, we are excited for a weekend off. It’s been about two straight months on the road between Brazil, Indy and this five-race stretch.

“You say we have a break now, but we are straight testing on Tuesday and then we finally get a weekend off.”
