TORONTO - Kyle Busch figured that had he used up just about a lifetime worth of bad luck last season between stints in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the Nationwide Series and the Sprint Cup Series.

Yet there he was the victim of the flukiest accident in recent NASCAR memory this past Sunday night when a cable holding a FOX-Sports TV camera snapped and wrapped itself around Busch’s No. 18 Toyota’s rear-wheel housing during the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway while he was leading the race.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the motor of his Joe Gibbs Racing machine blew up later in the race.

So instead of a win, Busch ended the night in 38th position.

Far from deterred, Busch heads to Dover International Raceway this week full of confidence he can bounce back fro the adversity at Charlotte.

He has reason to be confident with two Sprint Cup wins, three Nationwide Series wins and two Truck Series wins and the Monster Mile.
