Dean of Speed's Sprint Cup Top 10
Things to look for in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Kobalt Tools 400

EASY DOES IT: With hardly any practice this weekend Sprint Cup drivers will be tentative in the early going at Las Vegas. Emphasis will be on not making mistake.

SLIP SLIDIN’: The track is likely to be very green, meaning not much rubber laid down, making it extra slippery so drivers will be extra careful in making a pass.

CRASH COURSE: There is a big bump in the middle of Turn 1. It could be the spot where crashes will occur on Sunday, but watch as drivers try to avoid that area of the track.

STICKY SITUATION: The pavement at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is starting to cure. It means cars will have less grip so watch as drivers move around the track looking for traction.

ALL TOGETHER NOW: The Generation 6 car is supposed to have more downforce on the intermediate tracks like LVMS. That means there should be more pack racing.
