TORONTO - Four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jeff Gordon can’t wait to get into the new No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Generation 6 Chevrolet next week for qualifying for the Daytona 500.
Gordon, coming off a win in the final race of the 2012 season at Homestead Miami Speedway, said Friday that momentum is on his side.
“To have a great finish like we had at Homestead and take that into the off-season was a big plus and a big positive for us,” he said. “It helped us stay energized through the off-season to get ready for this new season.”
