Alex Tagliani will be back in the No. 98 Barracuda Racing Honda in the IZOD IndyCar Series this season and next.

The team announced on Thursday in Indianapolis that Tagliani had signed to a two-year contract extension with the one-car outfit.

Tagliani, a native of the Montreal suburb of Lachenaie, is coming off a challenging 2012 season where the team was saddled with an uncompetitive Lotus engine for the first three races before switching to Honda power at the Indianapolis 500.

In spite of the awful start, Tagliani bounced back with a pole win at Texas Motor Speedway, and top six qualifying efforts in all but two races after the engine switch.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
