TORONTO - This season’s Honda Indy Toronto double-header on July 13 and 14 will be shown live on Sportsnet in Canada and on the NBC Sports Network in the U.S., IZOD IndyCar Series officials announced Monday.

The series also launched an assault on fuel mileage racing by changing the race distance at four events — St. Petersburg, Long Beach, Milwaukee and Mid-Ohio.

“Changing the distances at these races will hopefully eliminate the strategy of saving fuel from the drop of the green flag,” IndyCar race director Beaux Barfield said in a release. “That will enable our teams and drivers to race hard for the full distance and improve the event’s entertainment value for the fans.”

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
