EDMONTON - For Stefan Rzadzinski, it was an experience of a lifetime.

It also gave him something to strive for, in his racing career.

"It was incredible, I can't believe it's over already, to be honest," said Rzadzinski after taking part in his second Indy Lights race of the weekend.

"The last week and a half have flown by, it's been a lot of media, lots of attention and it was exciting finally getting down to the racing.

"In the end, it was unfortunate that we didn't have the two hours of practice on Friday because we could have figured some things out. We had to try to figure them out last night, but I felt we made really good progress throughout the weekend."

Rzadzinski, 18, a local up-and-coming driver, was given the opportunity to take part in the event by race organizers.

He finished 10th in his debut on Saturday and placed 13th Sunday.

"It was a crazy weekend, an unbelievable experience," Rzadzinski said. "There is still a lot for me to work on out there.

"I got a chance to race against some of the best young drivers in North America and I hope I made everyone in Edmonton proud."
