EDMONTON - Anne Roy needs an office.

“And a bed,” she said.

“I would like to be here full time,” said the new manager of the Edmonton Indy, who has over 20 years of motorsport experience. “I think that’s important.

“I’m looking for office space and interviewing local people to be part of my team.”

Roy, who was here all three years of the ChampCar Series as an executive with the Formula Atlantic support series, is currently based with Octane Motorsports Events in Montreal.

“She’s not going to be working on anything other than the Edmonton Indy, not the Formula 1 race or the NASCAR race,” said Octane president Francois Dumontier.
