NASCAR's Gordon, wife welcome a new son

New York - NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon became a father for the second time on Monday.

According to his website, Gordon's wife, Ingrid Vandebosch, delivered a boy, Leo Benjamin Gordon, at 8:53 a.m. (et). Leo weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

"He's happy and healthy, and Mom is doing great," Gordon said on his website.

The couple had their first daughter, Ella Sophia, in June 2007.

Gordon, a four-time Cup Series champion, will compete at Michigan International Speedway this coming weekend.
