Carnage won't affect our Indy
By TERRY JONES, QMI Agency

Despite the carnage, 25 of the 26 cars which started the Honda Indy Toronto race are believed headed to Edmonton.

Only Graham Rahal, finding a ride for only a few scattered series races this year, is not expected to be on the track for practice here Friday.

A car count of 25 is two cars short of the record for Edmonton from the first IndyCar race after the merger when 27 started the race. ChampCar races featured fields of 18, 18 and 17 in 2005, 2006 and 2007 respectively. Last year, due to the loss of sponsorships resulting from the economic recession, there were 23 cars starting the Edmonton race.
