It took all of 15 seconds for Geoff Snider to make an impact in his former home.

By the end, the Philadelphia Wings were probably miffed the transition star is now part of the Calgary Roughnecks instead of with them.

Snider fired home the first of three goals off the opening faceoff as the Roughnecks cruised to a 16-8 victory over the Wings at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday afternoon.

Snider, who spent four years with the Wings before being traded home to Calgary, had a key shorthanded marker in the third quarter to stifle a Wings comeback attempt, once again scoring off a faceoff win.

Dane Dobbie had four goals and two helpers in his best game of the season as the Riggers improved to 2-2.

After this weekend’s sweep of the Colorado Mammoth and Wings, it’s probably a good thing the Riggers are still on the road for four of the next five games.
