The Calgary Roughnecks have received a second anonymous donor to cover their next road trip costs.

The Riggers will play Sunday in Everett, Wash., against the Washington Stealth, and two anonymous businessmen have provided the funds for the cash-strapped National Lacrosse League team to get there.

The team has an anonymous donor come up with the money to cover its trip to Philadelphia, where they beat the Wings 13-7 Saturday to improve to 6-3.

Two weeks ago, Riggers owner Brad Banister made a public plea for corporate support, saying the team was on life support. The players hadnt been paid for two games at that time.

Banister said Monday the NLL has sent out cheques to players Friday to have them paid in full.

Banister also announced Monday that PDL Contact Centres have been brought on board, and they can be contacted for people who want to support the team (1-866-921-8929).
