The Calgary Roughnecks are hoping for a super Sunday to start the National Lacrosse League playoffs.

Due to a busy Saddledome with Flames and Hitmen playoffs, the Riggers announced yesterday they will host their first-round playoff game Sunday, May 3, at 3 p.m.

The opponent is still to be determined from action this weekend. It could be either the Edmonton Rush, the Colorado Mammoth or the Minnesota Swarm. For the Rush to qualify, they need to beat the Mammoth and hope the Swarm lose to the New York Titans.

The Mammoth just need to beat the Rush and they are in, while the Swarm need a Rush win and a victory as well.

Tickets are now on sale at the Roughnecks office from $20-$60, but fans can get an 18% discount by putting a non-refundable $100 towards next year's season tickets.
