The Toronto Rock's first three-game winning streak since 2006 has put the team back in the playoff berth.

The Rock took out the West's top squad, the Calgary Roughnecks, 12-10 last night at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

The Rock, once a hopeless 2-7, but now 5-7 and gaining, has moved into the East's final playoff slot, with a game against league-worst Edmonton on tap tonight.

Lewis Ratcliff, mired in a huge slump until scoring four goals last week, led the way again, with five goals and an assist. Ratcliff scored the first two goals of the game as the Rock built a 9-5 halftime lead.

Calgary equalized off four straight goals in the second half, but Toronto's Blaine Manning scored two spectacular goals and the torrid Rock held on for another win.

Ex-Rock stalwarts Josh Sanderson and Kaleb Toth combined for six goals and nine assists in the loss.

Jason Crosbie and Kasey Beirnes notched five points for the Rock, while Manning and Craig Conn had four.
