COMING IN

CALGARY ROUGHNECKS (5-1)

BOSTON BLAZERS (5-3)

The Roughnecks are coming off their first loss of the season, a 13-12 defeat last Saturday to the Colorado Mammoth in Denver.

The expansion Blazers beat the Minnesota Swarm 16-12 Friday night in Minnesota for their fifth win in six games.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Being that the Blazers are brand new this season, this is the first meeting between the clubs. They don't play again in 2009.

WHO'S HOT

Calgary -- Lefty F Dane Dobbie led the Riggers with six points (three goals) against the Mammoth. The sophomore forward also led the team with 10 loose balls. In six games so far, Dobbie has 29 points and 38 loose balls.

Boston -- Rigger killer Dan Dawson had two goals and 10 assists Friday night in the win over the Swarm. Dawson was the leader of the Portland LumberJax when they knocked off the Roughnecks in last year's playoffs. Dawson leads the NLL in assists with 38.

SPECIAL TEAMS

POWERPLAY -- Calgary: 56.8% (25-44, 1st in NLL); Boston: 43.8% (21-48, 9th).

PENALTY KILLING -- Calgary: 48.1% (14-27, 8th); Boston: 51.2% (20-41, 6th).

NOTABLES

After missing last week due to work commitments, Riggers D Jeff Moleski will be back in the lineup this week. That means either D Kyle Couling, D Scott Carnegie or D Peter McFetridge will not play ... During the expansion draft, the Blazers took Roughnecks D Devan Wray and eventually traded him back to Calgary for D Travis Gillespie and a draft pick ... Riggers D Andrew McBride needs two penalty minutes to pass Jesse Phillips for the franchise record in that category.
