Calgary Roughnecks GM Kurt Silcott has had little time for Stampeding this week.

Silcott pulled the trigger on another trade yesterday, the second in two days following Wednesday's National Lacrosse League expansion draft, picking up forward Shawn Cable from the Portland Lumberjax.

In exchange, Calgary dealt Portland a 2006 third-round pick (29th overall). The deal is still pending league approval.

This is Cable's second tour of duty with the Riggers. He played 13 games over two seasons in 2002-03 before being dealt to Colorado.

In 48 career NLL games, the 6-ft., 185-lb., Cable has scored 47 goals and 105 points.

"It's a good situation for me," said Cable, who lives in Calgary and serves as the head coach of the junior A Raiders. "I'm excited to be back with this team and back with this group of guys and hopefully I can contribute and help them get back to the championship."

Silcott said the 26-year-old Cable is a good fit for the club."Shawn is a solid left-handed scorer and another guy that lives right here in Calgary."
