Goalies are in high demand on the eve of the National Lacrosse League's expansion draft and that is a good thing for Toronto Rock backup Phil Wetherup.

Wetherup, one of eight players left unprotected by the Rock for this afternoon's draft, appears to be safe because, according to new Rock director of lacrosse operations Mike Kloepfer, goalies Brandon Miller of the San Jose Stealth and Mike Miron of the Arizona Sting will go 1-2 to the Chicago Shamrox and the yet-to-be named New York franchise, respectively.

Kloepfer has been in conversation with New York coach/interim GM Adam Mueller and Chicago's front office, but is not sure which players the Rock will lose.

The best bets to move are either Ian Rubel or Brian Beisel, both defenders, along with forward Rusty Kruger.

Yesterday, the NLL officially unveiled the New York team and announced the club -- to be named via an internet poll -- will play a minimum of four of its eight home games at Madison Square Garden.
