SUN THREE STARS:

1. F Tracey Kelusky, Roughnecks -- The Calgary captain collected eight goals and two assists.

2. F Colin Doyle, Rock -- The NLL's top point-getter on the season (111) after logging seven points.

3. D Taylor Wray, Roughnecks -- The sophomore defender was strong on all areas of the floor.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Roughnecks F Kyle Goundrey drops his shoulder on Rock F Jim Quinlan, putting the ball in the stick of Riggers F Lewis Ratcliff, who then lifts the home side ahead for the first time in the game.

GOAL OF THE GAME:

With eight goals on the game, Roughnecks F Tracey Kelusky was the human highlight reel but his sixth marker, with a defender draped all over him, was the best of the bunch.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

The Roughnecks were up by six to start the fourth and starter Curtis Palidwor blanked

F Matt Shearer on a two-on-one quick stick, making a slick move from post to post.

UNSUNG HERO:

Roughnecks D Jeff Moleski did an admirable job tossing the mitts with one of the toughest guys in the league, D Tim O'Brien of the Rock.

WHAT IT MEANS:

Nothing changes as far as playoff positions because both teams had already clinched their respective division titles prior to the game. However, the Roughnecks (10-6) win did stop the Rock (12-4) from grabbing a franchise record for victories in a season.

NOTABLES:

Roughnecks D Travis Gillespie returned to the lineup yesterday for the first time since being hospitalized in Phoenix, with abcessed tonsils. Gillespie took the spot of F Jason Wulder.
