1. F Ted Dowling, Roughnecks -- The recently reacquired forward got four goals and two assists in the win.

2. G Curtis Palidwor, Roughnecks -- Kept the Sting to 10 goals on 49 shots.

3. T Andrew Biers, Roughnecks -- Was a force all over the floor, plus picked up two goals.

GOAL OF THE GAME:

Riggers D Craig Gelsvik picks the ball up in the crease while killing a penalty then fires it the length of the floor to F Kaleb Toth, who makes an awkward catch off balance but turns and fakes high before beating G Mike Miron shortside.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

F Chris McKay of the Sting picked up a rebound off the boards and tried to use the quick stick to sneak it past G Curtis Palidwor but the Riggers netminder hugged the post to make the highlight reel save.

UNSUNG HERO:

'Necks D Brad MacDonald won the game's only fight, plus chipped in with a first-half goal.

FIGHT CARD:

Late in the first quarter, Riggers D Brad MacDonald and Sting F Chris Panos squared off after Arizona tied the game at 3-3. It was a one-sided battle as MacDonald landed a flurry of rights.

WHAT IT MEANS:

Calgary improves to 9-5 and secures a home playoff date.

NOTABLES:

Roughnecks F Kaleb Toth's third-quarter marker was Calgary's first shorthanded goal since Feb. 12.
