GOAL OF THE GAME:

Toronto F Blaine Manning, a Sherwood Park product, caught a pass one-handed in front of the Calgary net in the first quarter, turned with Roughnecks rookie D Ryan Sharp draped all over him and got off a one-handed shot as he stumbled, tucking it past Calgary goalie Curtis Palidwor.

UNSUNG HERO:

Calgary D Brad MacDonald was tenacious on defence all night, transitioned the ball well and scored his fourth goal of the season.

WHAT IT MEANS:

Calgary falls to 8-5 with its second straight loss and sits tied with the Colorado Mammoth atop the West Division. The Mammoth beat the Minnesota Swarm 15-9 last night. Toronto improves to 9-3 and remains No. 1 in the East.
