SAVE OF THE GAME:

Sting F Craig Conn, acquired from the Minnesota Swarm Thursday, broke around a defender on a pick and ended up all alone at the top of the Calgary crease, where he threw a couple of fakes.

But Roughnecks starter Curtis Palidwor guessed where he was going and made a big stop with his arm.

GOAL OF THE GAME:

He sprinted the whole way with big Arizona F Dan Dawson hanging all over him and smacking at his stick and still managed to keep the ball before bouncing a shot past Arizona goalie Ken Montour.

UNSUNG HERO:

Calgary D Rich Catton shouldered a lot of the defensive load with three starters out for the Roughnecks.
