3. G DALLAS ELUIK, East -- Stepping between the pipes in the second half, the Philadelphia Wings netminder stopped 24 shots and held the West to only five goals.

GOAL OF THE GAME:
East F John Tavares of the Buffalo Bandits showed his veteran savvy in the extra frame with a big-time goal. Tavares, who sits second behind Gary Gait for all-time leading scorer, made a deadly spin move with a West defender draped all over him and was still able to put it in far side on Colorado G Gee Nash.

SAVE OF THE GAME:
West captain F Gary Gait of the Colorado Mammoth tried to go low after faking high on East G Pat O'Toole. However, O'Toole sniffed out the fake and stood tall, turning away perhaps the greatest player of all time.

West D Peter Lough, who plays for the Arizona Sting, played strong at the both ends of the floor. The 30-year-old Toronto native thwarted some of the best quick sticks in the game but also grabbed four assists.

This game marked the last time all-time leading scorer F Gary Gait will play in the selects game as he has already announced this will be his last season in the National Lacrosse League ... The East Division all-stars received DVD players for their efforts in the 11-10 overtime victory ... The only penalty called during the game was on East F John Grant Jr. for interference in the second quarter .... Gait scored the only powerplay goal of the game, while East F Craig Conn of the Minnesota Swarm picked up a shorthanded marker.
