LAST YEAR'S GAME: EAST 19 WEST 15 -- Buffalo Bandits forward Mark Steenhuis scored six goals to lead the East to victory at the Pepsi Center in Denver. His half-dozen goals earned Steenhuis game MVP honours. Toronto Rock forward Colin Doyle was second in scoring for the East with six markers.

Colorado Mammoth sniper Gavin Prout paced the West with four goals and two assists. Calgary Roughnecks forward Kaleb Toth and former Vancouver Ravens forward Dan Stroup each finished with a hat-trick.

ROUGHNECKS IN THE HOUSE:

F Tracey Kelusky and F Kaleb Toth make their second straight appearance in the showcase tilt. They will be joined by F Lewis Ratcliff -- who led the Roughnecks in scoring last season-- D Jesse Phillips and D Craig Gelsvik. Calgary head coach Chris Hall will serve as the bench boss for the West.

LETTER MEN:

Colorado Mammoth forward Gary Gait, the NLL's all-time leading scorer, will wear the 'C' for the West, while Calgary captain Tracey Kelusky and San Jose defender Jim Moss will wear 'A's. Toronto Rock veteran Jim Veltman will captain the East, while Rochester defender Andrew Turner and Buffalo Bandits forward John Tavares will serve as assistants.

SKILLS WINNERS:

Roughnecks assistant captain Kaleb Toth won the hardest shot contest at last year's game with a blast clocked at 99 m.p.h. (158.4 km/h). Victoria, B.C., product Tom Marechek, a forward with the Philadelphia Wings, won the trick shot contest, while Buffalo Bandits forward John Tavares took honours in the rapid fire contest.

NOTABLES:

Calgary's Kaleb Toth will wear his familiar No. 9 today. Last year in Denver at the all-star game, Toth wore No. 69 while Colorado Mammoth forward Gavin Prout wore his regular No. 9. This year, the duo will switch ... This year's all-star MVP will receive a flatscreen TV, while the players on the winning team get DVD players.
