Size, speed and a sick stick.
Rochester Knighthawks forward John Grant Jr. is the complete package on offence.
Voted as a starter for the East Division, the Peterborough native leads the NLL in scoring with 30 goals and 30 assists in only eight games heading into this week.
His best performance of the year came Feb. 18 against the Philadelphia Wings, when the 6-ft. 2-in., 220-pounder scored nine goals and two assists -- including the game winner -- in a 14-13 overtime victory.
Grant's nine tallies came within one of tying the single-game record shared by the famous Gait twins, Gary and Paul.
Calgary Roughnecks captain and fellow all-star Tracey Kelusky, a close friend of Grant's, said he's the real deal.
"He's by far the best stickhandler in the game today," he said. "He can bring so many things to a game. He can sit back and shoot or drag three guys to the net and score. I've always said John Grant. Jr. is the best player in the game."
