HIT OF THE GAME:

GOAL OF THE GAME:

Calgary captain Tracey Kelusky showed some fancy footwork by burning former all-pro defender of the year Pat Coyle and then beat Mammoth G John McLellan with a high laser over the shoulder.

UNSUNG HERO:

Roughnecks D Craig Gelsvik played an all-around solid game, especially in Calgary's zone. The hulking 6-ft. 3-in., 220-pounder stripped the NLL's all-time point-getter Mammoth F Gary Gait and anchored a solid d-corps that was a wall in the first half.

FIGHT CARD:

Lots of after-the-whistle skirmishes but no full on fisticuffs last night.

WHAT IT MEANS:

The Roughnecks now move to 4-2, while the Mammoth drop to 2-3 on the season.

NOTABLES:

Rigger D Andy Ogilvie left the game with a potentially season-ending knee injury in the second quarter after teammate D Andrew McBride accidentally rolled onto his leg ... The Riggers will travel to Toronto next Saturday to face the Rock and will return home Friday, Feb. 18 to take on the Anaheim Storm.
