Sedins sit for Sweden
By LANCE HORNBY -- Toronto Sun

DANIEL AND Henrik Sedin have shared in each others triumphs through the years, but now the twins are mired in the same bench-warming role. They could be staring at a fourth consecutive night in the pressbox as the Swedes have made no changes to their forward lines since the World cup began.

"For sure I'm frustrated," Daniel said . "I think I played pretty good in the exhibition games, but there's not much you can do."

NOT SORRY

He said he didn't feel sorry for his brother anymore than other Swedish scratches.

"There's a few good players (sitting) on our team," Daniel said. "You always want to play, but as long as you keep winning, that's good. But the further the tournament goes on, the less chance I have.

"It's tough when you haven't played in a week and a half or two weeks. But I will try and stay ready."

Both Sedins are also restricted free agents in a contract wrangle with the Vancouver Canucks.
