OTTAWA - Two is better than one.

Take a look at the American women's hockey team, which features twin sisters Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux.

Natives of North Dakota, the Lamoureuxs have competed extensively for the Americans at the national level.

They have suited up in the Four Nations Cup, the under-22 worlds, the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and, of course, the women's world championship this week at Scotiabank Place.

Jocelyne said being able to play with her sister is a great opportunity. What's more, they play on the same line.

"It's fun. Our college season (at the University of North Dakota) this year, we didn't get to play together because she was playing defence, but it's always fun," said Jocelyne after a 5-0 win over Switzerland Friday. "We know what each other is doing and it's easy to play with each other."
