A huge hockey name is coming to Manitoba to help kick off the World Women's Hockey Championship.
Former Detroit Red Wings captain Steve Yzerman will be in Winnipeg on Tuesday to help launch the tournament on opening night. Details of his appearance will be announced this weekend.
Yzerman is the general manager of the national men's hockey team.

All of Canada's players will be on hand for a meet-and-greet session between 1 and 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon on the main floor of the Convention Centre.
