King pushes to get Tippett to Sochi Games
By CHRIS STEVENSON, QMI AGENCY

GLENDALE, ARIZ. - The decision still hasn't been made if NHLers will play in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

But Dave King, the former coach of Team Canada at the Olympics, is adamant that if the NHL is going to be there, Dave Tippett should be part of the coaching staff.

Given Tippett's experience as a player in two Olympic Games -- in 1984 and 1992 (winning a silver medal) -- and his success as a coach in the NHL, King said it's time he got consideration.

"Tipper is an interesting guy. He's got great skills. I think when it comes to the next Olympics, he should be one of the coaches who is right front and centre to be on the staff," said King. "I'm not saying he has to be the head coach, but I think Dave Tippett should be on our Olympic coaching staff in Sochi."

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
