Emery swats KHL trainer
By BRUCE GARRIOCH, SUN MEDIA

Ray Emery is up to his old tricks.

The former Senators goalie was the talk of the hockey world again yesterday after a video was posted on YouTube of Emery pushing and swatting who appears to be an Atlant Mystichi trainer during a KHL game.

A KHL source said the incident happened last night when Emery was pulled after allowing three goals in the first period against Yaroslavl. Emery, 26, a Hamilton native, has been one of the top goalies in the KHL.

Emery's agent, J.P. Barry, told TSN last night that the goalie didn't like being pestered by a staff member to wear a sponsor's hat.

Emery recently suited up in a KHL all-star game in Red Square in Moscow. Emery, bought out by the Senators last summer after a host of off-ice incidents, has a 20-6-0 record in 31 games.
