Dunlops defenceman in hospital

Whitby Dunlops defenceman Don Sanderson is in serious condition at Hamilton General Hospital following a head injury suffered Friday night in an Ontario Senior AAA hockey game at Brantford.

Sanderson and Brantford Blast player Corey Fulton were involved in a third-period fight during Whitby's 5-2 victory. During the altercation, Sanderson's helmet came off and he was injured when he hit his head on the ice.

Originally listed as critical, 21-year-old Sanderson's condition was changed to serious yesterday and he was able to move one of his arms.
