PHILADELPHIA — The Winnipeg Jets went with a mobile defenceman with the 69th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Jack Glover, a 6-foot-3, 192-pound defenceman from the U.S. National Development team, was chosen with the ninth pick of the third round.

Glover, who hails from Golden Valley, Minn., had one goal and 10 points in 24 games in the USHL last season and is committed to attending the University of Minnesota.

The Jets didn’t have a second round pick this season, but hold two picks in the fourth round, the 99th and the 101st and currently have six in total on Day 2.
