Bryan Little wonders when it’s finally going to happen.
When is the Winnipeg Jets centre going to get a taste of the NHL playoffs? Because right now he’s played in as many post-season contests as you and me, and he’s been in the NHL for six years.
So just how often does the 26-year-old dream about suiting up when the games go to the next level in the spring?
“Every summer when I’m watching it at home,” Little said Tuesday at MTS Centre. “I’ve been in this organization a long time, and I’ve watched a lot of playoffs from the couch. It’s definitely not the funnest thing to do.”
Little isn’t alone. Only 12 of the 33 players who suited up for the Jets this season have played at least one NHL playoff game. Only seven have appeared in more than one series. That's not a lot of experience on which to draw.
