It's nearly time for the Winnipeg Jets to move into the starting blocks, as the sprint to the finish line is about to begin.

With 22 games left to be played in the regular season over a 44-day span, there simply isn't time for the Jets to savour the euphoria of the victories or wallow in the sting of the defeats.

Simply put, it's going to take an on-to-the-next one mentality from here on in.

As one of a handful of teams currently in the thick of the hunt for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference, an ability to keep an even kill and not be swept about by the highs or the lows is going to be of utmost importance.
