MONTREAL - Al Montoya continues to be Mr. Reliable for the Winnipeg Jets.

Montoya made only his second start under head coach Paul Maurice but he made it an impressive one as he turned aside 30 shots to help the Jets earn a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday afternoon at the Bell Centre.

With the game tied 1-1 early in the third period, Canadiens goalie Carey Price got caught outside the crease and Jets captain Andrew Ladd found Michael Frolik all alone in front for his 12th goal of the season.

Since Maurice took over, the Jets are 8-2 and find themselves right back in the playoff picture.
