Fresh off a few days in Florida, the Winnipeg Jet bundled up and headed for practice, today, hit by more than one cold, hard reality.

Despite a “decent” road trip, as head coach Claude Noel described it, the Jets remain in 11th place in the Western Conference going into a big homestand against division rivals St. Louis, Colorado and Dallas this week.

“I don’t think we forgot what conference we’re in because we went out east,” Noel said. “There will be a quick reminder of that against St. Louis. We won’t forget too quickly.

“We’ve got a big week. This week can really test you. So we’ll see where we stand.”
